Allied Health

We offer a range of Allied Health professionals who visit our practice and the Access Specialist Centre and can assist with your needs.

Renee Mauro has over 10 years of experience as a psychologist, providing therapeutic interventions.  She works with adults and children. Renee takes a client-centred strength-based approach and is understanding and compassionate.

Her areas of experience include:

  • Anxiety in children and adults,
  • Depression
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Improving family relationships and parenting (e.g. understanding others, improving communication, assertiveness training)
  • Adjustment difficulties (e.g. relocation, relationship breakups, step parenting/step family issues, supporting children and adults throughout the parental separation process)
  • Emotional regulation in children
  • Social skills training with children
  • Grief and loss issues in children and adults (e.g. death, family separation)
  • Changing long-term patterns that developed in childhood (e.g. schema therapy to change how you relate to yourself and to others in your life.)

Renee is available for appointments on Fridays at our Access Specialist Centre.

Robyn Ayres is a registered Podiatrist with the Podiatry Board of Australia, a member of Australian Podiatry Council (Queensland) and Sports Medicine Australia.  Robyn is a registered provider for Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Medicare “Enhanced Primary Care” programme.  Robyn completed her degree at Queensland University of Technology with 1st class honours, after a long career as a Microbiologist with Queensland University of Technology.

Robyn has a vast range of experience in all aspects of podiatry, gaining clinical skills in treating a wide range of foot and ankle disorders.  Robyn has worked in medical centres in northern Brisbane catering to patients with chronic disease, diabetes, biomechanical problems and orthotic therapy, paediatrics, sports injuries and general podiatric requirements such as ingrown toe nails, corns and callous removal.

Robyn is available for consultations at our Access Specialist Clinic on Fridays and also our Morningside practice on Thursdays and Saturdays.


Amandine Barnett is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has completed a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice at Bond University. She has also completed the Dietetic Association of Australia National Paediatric Training Course. Amandine has also contributed to a series of feasibility research studies to enhance the cardio metabolic health of liver transplant recipients.

Amandine enjoys all aspects of her practice, especially helping her clients attain holistic and achievable nutritional goals. She has a particular interest in paediatric health but her expertise covers a vast range of conditions including:

  • Blood pressure and cholesterol
  • Chronic kidney and liver disease
  • Diabetes
  • Diverticulitis/diverticular disease
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Neurological disorders
  • Reflux/heartburn
  • Weight loss or gain.

Amandine is available for appointments at our Access Specialist Clinic at Belmont on Mondays.
