We have been fielding a number of queries about patients receiving notifications from SmartVax and what that means to them.
SmartVax notifies the TGA of any adverse events following vaccination of an individual.
Your personal data is removed from the situation - the TGA only receives information surrounding the reaction.
You do not have to respond to these notifications, but remembering that if you do choose to report it, this helps the TGA understand potential issues with vaccines and side-effects.
