At Belmont General Practice Clinic, we are proud to boast some of the best doctors in Brisbane. We also offer various Allied Health Services, including Dietetics and Podiatry.

Known for our high standard of patient care, all doctors have a fail-safe way of ensuring your test results are followed up, in the event you are unable to do so yourself.  We offer a range of care, from childhood vaccinations to flu and pneumonia vaccinations for our senior population.  We also perform men's health checks, women's health checks, most travel vaccines, skin checks, mental health care plans and we have E.C.G. and spirometry machines located on-site.

Dr. Allan Phillips has been working in General Practice in the Morningside area for most of his career. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1977, and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) since 1983. Together with Dr Kratzing, he was a foundation board member of the Brisbane Inner South Division of General Practice (now SEAGP).

He is married to Dr Janet Phillips, a co-founder of the practice and they have five children. Dr Phillips has a wide range of medical interests, in particular - preventative medicine, diabetes, paediatrics, patient education, cardiovascular disease, skin cancer and aged care.

Dr. Ravi has been a General Practitioner since 1988 and is known for her dedication to the best health outcomes for her patients.  Dr. Ravi joined our Belmont Practice in 2012 and was one of our first doctors after establishing our practice.  Dr. Ravi has had many years of training and experience in a variety of areas and has special interests in Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Women's Health and Preventative Medicine.  Dr. Ravi can also perform insertion and removal of the Implanon contraceptive device.

Dr. Stella graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1989. She worked as a General Practitioner in Johannesburg, South Africa and during that time, completed a Masters in Child Health.  Her family relocated to the U.K. in 2005 where she worked in a general practice in South London and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitoners (UK). She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in Women's and Children's Health and Diabetes.

She strives for a patient-centred approach to health care, treating each person respectfully as an individual, taking into consideration their beliefs and values.

Dr. Stella joined Belmont General Practice in 2012.

Dr. Margaret Tait graduated from the University of Queensland in 1976.  She has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 1983 and an examiner since 1985.  She has been working in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane since 1978.  She has two daughters, is an active member of the Queensland Maritime Museum and has a passion for all things nautical.  Dr Tait has a broad based medical interest.

Marion is a Brisbane-based General Practitioner whose interests lie in Women's and Children's health and Mental disorders.  She does enjoy a challenge and will be more than happy to assist for any range of health problem from minor cuts and sports injuries, to STI checks and travel vaccinations.

Dr. Karen Ramsay has been with Morningside General Practice since 2004, after 25 years in Rural General Practice in NSW.  Her special interest is 'Skin Cancer Medicine' and 'Skin Cancer Surgery'.  She has undergone Post-Graduate training in Skin Cancer Medicine and has obtained a Masters of Medicine at the University of Queensland.  Her interests include all aspects of medicine, in particular skin lesions and minor operations.  Please note: Dr. Ramsay takes new patients for skin checks only.

Zac graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003. After graduation, he embarked on his RAAF return of service, which saw him posted to Newcastle and Townsville. Zac has a broad range of hospital experience, with a focus on Orthopaedics (3 years as a non-training registrar) and Paediatrics. He has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2009, and completed two certificates in skin cancer diagnosis and management through the University of Queensland in 2014. He is happily married and has 4 children, and likes to keep active doing CrossFit and cycling.

He has special interests in sporting injuries, skin cancer management and paediatrics.  Please note: Dr. Miles does not see Workcover patients.
